Rising Stars Royal Ruby

Ruby our AKC registered standard Rottweiler female. Isn't she a Beautiful standard Rottweiler female! Ruby is our gem. I never knew how much I would come to love these rottie's until her. She is such a love, baby sitter, great travel companion and she loves the water. i Take her on horse rides and she follows along just wanting to be with me. Our Ruby girl truly is a treasure...

One afternoon I was running cattle on foot through a chute so we could load them in the stock trailer as we were delivering the cows to their new owners. I had Ruby with me and and she was rounding up and herding the cows. My cousin was holder the trailer door. We had just got all but one bull calf loaded( Which was about 250lbs) we had been struggling to get him loaded as he did not like the idea of the trailer ride. But this was it, he had FINALLY went through the makeshift gate I had made for him and just as fast as I closed the gate he turned around and rammed the gate and up and over I went . No warning, he had hit right around my stomach and I literally flipped over the gate. Just then, my sweet Rottweiler who had to my knowledge zero protective instinct saw what happened and took the calf to the ground. She had been with me for the 40 mins getting these cows to load and never threatened to attack until they hurt me. She didn't draw blood, she just took him down and released when I told her too.  Another situation happened while driving my horses who took off in the slippery snow ,she drug me down a hill and I yelled as my horse got loose, Ruby was there and the horse ran off, Ruby trapped her and rounded her up in the trees and kept her there until I was able to reach her. She truly is a great companion.  I cant express how much I (well, my whole family) LOVE HER!!
